A family-run logistics company has been shortlisted for three top industry awards.
Browns Distribution, in Stoke-on-Trent, is in the running for Logistics Service Provider of the Year at the UK Warehousing Association (UKWA) Awards for Excellence.
And it is shortlisted for both Haulier of the Year and the Customer Care Award at the Motor Transport Awards.
As reported by Daily Focus, Tunstall-based Browns has recently moved into new multi-million pound headquarters following a period of growth partly down to an increase in freight volume and demand.
Managing Director David Brown Jnr said: “The Browns team and I are absolutely thrilled with being shortlisted in not one, but three industry awards.
“Both the Motor Transport and UKWA awards celebrate the very best of our industry, and being acknowledged alongside industry leaders, innovators and champions is a true testament to our team’s tireless efforts.
“We’re really looking forward to both ceremonies and wish all other nominees, across all categories, the best of luck.”
Winners of the UKWA Awards for Excellence will be announced next week, whilst the ceremony for the Motor Transport Awards takes place in September.
